With effect from 1st July 2016, the operations of Generali Pilipinas Life Assurance Company, Inc. (GPLAC) have been reorganized.

GPLAC has been renamed BDO Life Assurance Company, Inc. (BDO Life)1 while Generali Pilipinas Insurance Company, Inc. (GPIC) has been renamed Generali Life Assurance Philippines Inc. (Generali Philippines)2.

All existing individual life policies written by GPLAC prior to 1st July, 2016 including the BDO Mortgage Redemption Insurance (MRI) Program will continue to be serviced by BDO Life.

All existing group business including Employee Benefits coverage (Life & Health) written by GPLAC prior to 1st July will continue to be serviced by Generali Life Philippines.

There will be no impact on the terms and conditions of all existing policies.

Group Life Insurance

Enroll your employees to our Group Insurance program and provide them with life insurance protection in case of untimely death. Generali pays a lump sum amount to your employee's designated beneficiary/ies regardless of cause.

Enjoy these optional benefits:

Accidental Death and Disability (AD&D) Rider
Provides additional coverage in case of your employee's accidental loss of life, limbs, or sight.

Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Rider
Gives additional benefits in case of disability caused by bodily injury due to accident or disease which prevents your employee from engaging in any business or occupation for profit or gain for the rest of his life.

Critical Illness Benefit
Pays a benefit equal to your employee’s individual amount of insurance upon diagnosis of a dreaded disease.

Group Daily Hospital Income Benefit
Provides payment of daily income benefit for each day of hospital confinement up to 31 days as a result of your employee’s illness, disease or accidental injury.

Terminal Illness Benefit
Provides benefits equivalent to 50% of the amount of insurance, up to a maximum limit, if your employee is diagnosed to be terminally ill.

Burial Assistance Benefit
Provides a lump sum death benefit to your employee’s designated beneficiary/ies in the event of death to cover funeral expenses. This is in addition to the basic life insurance benefit.
